Greetings. I'm in the process of playing MOE for the first time (It's actually the only KQ game I've never completed)

I've come to a small problem. I was in the Swamp on the fire log puzzle, to get to the ladle, and a very split second before Conner dies is when I got my last save (the only for this land) in. If at all possible, I would love a save either prior to this puzzle or right after (as long as it's in the swamp and past the witch atleast) so I don't have to go through this land again; this is actually my second go at this land, I had a prior install of the game, but I had computer problems and had to reinstall windows so I had to start fresh from the beginning.

Would anyone be able to help me with a save?

Instead of creating a new thread for my new issue, I'm going to add it here....


I'm in the Barren Regon, and I'm on my way to slay the Basilisk, and I don't know if it's happening because I'm at the wrong spot or if it's glitch or something, but when I cross the broken bridge (see attached screencap) I can get over the silver safes, but when I step onto the last section of bridge, Conner recrosses the bridge without jumping and I can't control him. Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong or how I can fix this?
