I'm right at the end of KQ4 and I'm bugged!
I went up to Lolotte's room, unlocked and opened the door, and then realized I couldn't do anything to not wake her up and die. That's when I went back downstairs and looked around and found my possessions in the cabinet. Yay!
Unfortunately, now when I go back upstairs to Lolotte's room, the door is standing wide open, but I can't walk through it! No matter how hard I try (or what I type), she just gets stuck at the open doorway. I tell her to open the door (again), but she says it's already open. I say "close door" and she says I don't need to. I say "walk through door" and several other variations of that and the game doesn't understand me.
The last time I saved under a different name was about halfway through the game (before all the ghost stuff, around the cave part with the troll), so I don't want to have to re-play half the game to get back to where I am now.

Ouch. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about that. The game isn't designed so that people could leave the room and come back. You could try to say, "Shoot Lollote" which MIGHT allow you to move on. If that doesn't work, you're just going to have to go back.
