I'm on chapter 7... and for some reason I'm not able to pick up the broken glass in the nursery. I click on it, Adrienne bends down as if to pick it up- but it's always still there- no matter how often I click it. Am I doing things in the wrong order (I got the rosary beads from the crypt first), or is it a game glitch (running it on XP), or have I gone wrong somewhere?

I'm at my wits end- thinking I spent all this time playing it only to get stumped by this.

Do you have the cameo? According to UHS Hints: "If you still have the cameo in your possession, you will not be able to keep the glass shard." If you don't have it, I'm afraid I'm out of ideas.

I did. And I was able to complete the game (after dying about three times). Thanks a lot.
