Abandonware is not legal. Until the owner of the IP releases a game to pubic domain, it can be offered for download only by or with permission of the owner of that IP.

As I said, QfG1 cannot legally be downloaded. Just because a site says it is legal does not make it so. Butterfly Media was very insistent that what they are doing is legal, until you threaten them with the ESA. Then they very quickly back down. The Underdogs will pull anything that the ESA says to, but that is only what they get caught distributing. Most of the rest is just ignored. That still does not make it anymore legal. Abandonware has NO legal meaning.

Well, regardless of the legal issues, I'm still downloading it.  The way I see it, if Abandonia hosts it, it's legal enough for me!
