KQ3 - how do I get the magic wand?

You know that little cabinet in the corner of the wizard's library that has the duster on it? It's in there. The cabinet's locked though, so you have to get the key first. Make sure you lock the wand back up after you use it, or Mannie will zap you.

where is the key? I've looked in the closet. don't know where else to look

This is one of those annoying puzzles that requires you to type in jsut the right thing. Look ON TOP of the closet. If you get the right command in you'll find the key.

Okay, now I can't get a direction to work for a spell.
Becoming Invisible direction II. Measure a spoon of cactus juice.
game will not recognize measure.

also how do I get the wizard to eat the cat cookie? He recognizes the magic.

According to the primer in the manual, it should say "Squeeze the cactus juice on a spoon." Try that.

As far as the wizard and the cat cookie, you're right. He does detect that the cookie is magic. I mean, it does have random cat hairs sticking up all over it. However, there may be some way to disguise it...Have you been to the three bears' house yet?

There's a random item that will occasionally show up in the living room. Just go up and down the stairs till you find it. Just be careful to only take it and not eat it Goldilocks.
