Ugarte created this little poem about about the gnomish hill men of the Underground Realm in King's Quest 8.

KING'S QUEST 8'S
"HILLMEN"

Connor walked up the ramp
Leading to a stone castle
Where large Hillmen stood guard
To watch our for intruders.

He tried to greet them
But they said to go away
And never return to the land
Because he was an outlander.

Connor then went to another
Who explained about the problem
Which was that one thing was gone:
the legendary Stone of Order.

Connor then understood it
And vowed to get it back
To the Hillmen who were desperate
To get that magic stone returned.

So he left the place
And thought about the stone
That could be anywhere
In this sweltering land.
