Sega Master Game Box

Sierra did not create games just for computers. A few of these adventure games were also created for console systems. Back in 1989, Sierra teamed up with Parker Brothers to create King's Quest 1 for the Sega Master system. Being on a console system, this game used a text menus instead of typing commands, since a Sega Master system does not have a keyboard but instead a game controller with a few buttons. The game was created in between the AGI (1984) and SCI (1990) versions of King's Quest 1 for PC, so the graphics do not really resemble either PC game, which is a great treat. All the screens were re-done just for this version. If you have both the AGI and SCI versions, you know that there are some variations between the two games. The Sega version resembles the AGI version in gameplay. Copies of this game pop-up on Ebay Auctions once in a while in case you have a Sega Master system and are interested in obtaining a copy. You can even get a Sega Master system there if you wanted to.
